At modGSI, we encourage you to be sure you like an item and make sure the colour and dimensions work for you before ordering it. Unlike books, clothes or shoes, furniture is fragile and therefore expensive to ship and repack. More than 99% of our customers are very pleased with their items when they arrive and we expect you will be as well. • Eligible items (see exceptions below) will be accepted for refund or exchange with a valid receipt within 30 days of purchase.
• Original receipt is required for all returns, exchanges, and warranty repair service.
• All items must be returned in their original packaging, and unassembled (never assembled), unused. We are unable to offer returns or exchange on modified or assembled items.
• If Returned items are not in their original selling condition, a minimum 20% restocking fee will be charged on all returns and exchanges.
• Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment (except for cash and debit payments). Purchase made by credit card will be refunded to the original credit card. Purchase made by cash and debit will be refunded by Interec e-Transfer within 7 business days.
• Items are eligible for price protection with a valid receipt, for up to 14 days from the date of purchase. Price protection does not apply to seasonal, final sale, as-is, Black Friday and Boxing Week sale.
modGSI does not accept returns or exchange on the following merchandise/services:
• Special order, floor models, clearance, as-is, discontinued, limited time offer items
• Special deals (deals authorized by manager), and bulk purchase
• For health reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchange on stuffed/upholstered products (i.e., cushions, pillows, mattresses)
• Seasonal items
• Items damaged due to abuse/misuse/unauthorized repair of products
• Shipping/assembly fee
• Product that has been modified, altered or washed
• modGSI gift cards or gift certificates
• If a special order item is found to be back ordered, you will be notified immediately and you will be given the option to cancel the back ordered item for a full refund. For special orders containing multiple pieces, only back ordered item can be cancelled.
• For products boxed in multiples, items purchased in less than full multiples will be considered final sale and may not include original packaging.
• All shipping costs are non-refundable and if you return an item that is offered with free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
• modGSI will not assume the transportation or shipping charges for any items to be returned or exchanged
• If the items you ordered are somehow damaged or defective when you receive them, modGSI or the manufacturer will repair or replace damaged or defective part(s) at no cost to you. View our Warranty Policy for more details.
• mod.SI reserves the right to refuse any returns.
