Shipping Policy

How Will My Order Ship?


We will ship your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method possible. Therefore, we have established strong relationships with some of the best delivery companies. Please note we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. 


We have three methods of shipping available: Parcel, LTL Freight, and Truck Delivery.


Parcel: 

We will ship smaller, lighter items via UPS, FedEx, or DHL (Typically by FedEx). Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your item will be arrive between 1 to 15 business days after it leaves the warehouse.


LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Freight:

A freight carrier delivers this item to your front entrance. You will need to move the package into your residence yourself. For large or heavy items, you may require the assistance of a friend at delivery.


Truck Delivery:


Curbside Truck Delivery (Selected Canada Provinces Only)

  • Delivery to your front entrance. The package will not be carried up stairs inside the home.
  • Assembly service not included
  • The product will be left in the original packaging

In-Room Truck Delivery (Selected Canada Provinces Only)

  • Delivery to inside your residence to the room you choose.
  • Assembly service not included
  • The product will be left in the original packaging

If your order shipped with a truck delivery, you will be contacted for an appointment (4 hour window) by mod.GSI or delivery agent ahead of time so that you can plan your schedule accordingly. Should you miss a pre-scheduled delivery, a re-delivery fee may apply. If your order shipped with a parcel carrier (Fedex, UPS, etc), please contact them ahead of time to make any special arrangements. 


mod.GSI reserves the right to change the rate at any time without notice.


When Will My Order Arrive?


To provide you with the greatest selection on the internet, we ship from warehouses all over the country. Each product on our site has an entry on its features list that states, "Usually leaves warehouse in X business days."  This figure does not take into account shipping time, which is dependent mainly on where the warehouse is and where you are, but also on other factors like product availability and method of transportation. Shipping usually takes between 1 and 15 business days after your order is picked up from the warehouse.

If you have any questions or concerns, we will be pleased to offer an estimate time of arrival for any ordered piece upon request. Kindly be aware however that these figures are estimates and not guarantees. 

Once your order leaves the warehouse, where possible, we will e-mail you the tracking number so you can track your shipment online or via telephone. Transit times are estimated and cannot be guaranteed. mod.GSI will endeavor to ensure a prompt and safe delivery. However, mod.GSI will not be liable for any delay than the estimated date that is due to causes beyond its control including without limitation , geographic location, weather, seasonal demand, or supplier's delays. Orders with delay cannot be cancelled.


Please note: business days do not include weekends.



How Do I Find The Shipping Cost For My Area?

After adding items to your shopping cart, you will have the option to calculate the shipping cost in "My Cart". Select your province and enter the postal code and click "Go" to calculate the shipping cost.

Free Delivery

Items with "Free Shipping" promotion will receive curbside delivery by default. (Free Delivery promo is available only for selected areas).


Cancellation

Returns are subject to both outbound and inbound shipping fees. Even items that are sold with 'Free Shipping' or 'Free Delivery' are subject to curbside shipping fees if they are returned.


Split Shipments

Due to varying item availability and warehouse locations, your items may be shipped separately when you place an order containing multiple items.We will not charge you extra shipping fees for split shipments.


Track Your Orders

Where possible, we will e-mail you the tracking number so you can track your shipment online or via the telephone. Or simply log into "My Account" or call 1-888-768-1877 to find out your order status.


Order Modification

Your order begins processing immediately after you click Pay Now on the "Review Your Information" page. There is a limited time after you submit your order when it may be possible to change your shipping address or shipping method, but once the order moves into the shipping process, it cannot be modified.

To request a modification after you have submitted your order, please contact customer service with your transaction ID from Paypal for quick resolution.

Important Note

It is the customers' responsibility to ensure the furniture will fit through hallways, doorways, or any such pretext. mod.GSI will not be held liable should your order not fit into your home, or should damages occur due to improper measuring. 


Free Store Pick-Ups

You can pick up your order whenever it's convenient for you instead of waiting at home for your package. To ensure smooth pick-up of your furniture, please review the following pick-up policies.

  • For orders placed online, you must bring your printed email confirmation and picture I.D upon pick-up
  • Merchandise that is picked-up may be in cartons and require assembly. Due to the nature of furniture shipped in-cartons, we may not be able to unpack cartons or assemble product for you at store.
  • Please be sure that the size of your vehicle will accommodate the size of the furniture to be picked up. We are not responsible for loading and tie-down of merchandise or the safe transportation of furniture to your home. Damage that occurs during transit is not covered under warranty nor can we accept returns on the merchandise. See return policy here.
  • For concealed damage on merchandise that was picked up, simply contact us within 3 days of receipt. When possible, we will promptly repair or replace the damaged item. If picked up, you must return the items.
